To celebrate the end of October, the Red October Update is here to bring new Soviet maps, weapons, and more!

To thank those that have supported me in the past, I've added a new Russian WW1 kit to the WW1 kits pack free of charge. Thank you so much for your support!

This kit comes with the primary weapon - Federov Avtomat, plus a unique uniform with a cloak and special cap.

Winter War Contest Winners Announced!

The results of Call to Battle's third contest are in..... Winter war!

3rd Place - Fresan

As usual with maps by Fresan, the terrain is very impressive! Not too many structures are present in the map, but that also gives it a very natural feel, not all battles even had buildings nearby!

2nd Place - Gunmetal_Blood

Gunmetal Blood's map takes second place! A good sized map that does a great job of representing the Mannerheim Line. The structures are very detailed, and the terrain is equally impressive.

The Status of Norway

As you all know, Fresan's beautiful map won the Blitzkrieg mapping contest, making Norway the next faction!

So, how is that going?

Well, as you all know, lately in my life there is unfortunately a lot less time. But, you can help with that. First off, I'd like to say Norway is around 60% done. However, though it is getting really close to completion, the progress is sadly, stalling.

How can you help?

Blitzkrieg Contest Winners Announced!

Preview Image:

It's the start of a new year. A time to look back... to the start of the war. The Blitzkrieg contest results are here!

For those who were not aware, the contests were to choose from 3 countries that were invaded during the Blitzkrieg: Poland, Norway, and Belgium. The winner.... would get that faction added to the game!

In addition to the faction being added, the winner will also be able to test the weapons as they are added to the game. Once the faction is finished, then it will be released to everyone else!

"Heavy Hitters" Update

Preview Image:

First of all, I'd like to thank wildernessConoeist for making this update possible. =)

The "Heavy Hitters" update adds 2 new high caliber weapons: The M2 Browning and the Boys AT Rifle. They will both be mountable on various maps on the official server, and the Boys AT Rifle will be added to the Rifleman class, which previously felt quite empty.

Both of them are extremely powerful, as they are high caliber. I hope you all enjoy them!

Happy New Year!

Happy new year!

We made it to 2018! Since release, countless bugs have been fixed and now Call to Battle 2 is a stable, very fun warfare experience that many enjoy, me included! One of my favorite pastimes has become playing CTB2 with you all.

One announcement, is that I finally released Call to Battle on CurseForge! It should also be on Minecraft Forum and Technic in the next couple weeks.

The dawn of a new year is a time not only for looking ahead, it is a time for looking back at what the previous year brought. I however, am looking back even farther.

On the verge of Call to Battle 2

Preview Image:

Almost 3 years ago, in a galaxy bedroom far far away...

I right clicked on the forge 1.6.4 src folder, clicked new package, and gave it the name "ww2". I right clicked on that package. New > Class. I gave it the name.... WWII.java.

That day, was the birth of Call to Battle. I did not even know it would become, or be named yet. But about year later, I released what you now know as Call to Battle.

Well over a year has passed since that day, and now we are on the verge of Call to Battle 2.

Match ID System

Preview Image:

In Call to Battle 1, gamemodes were really messy. In terms of not only physically, but in code as well. In Call to Battle 2, they have been rewritten to be clean, organized, and optimized!

Among other changes, one of the largest changes is the new Match ID System. For each battle, a Match ID is generated. World objects such as machine guns also have a match ID. To ensure proper resetting, all the world objects will compare their Match ID against the current one, if it doesn't match, then it will reset. Machine Guns will be refilled, AI(If present) will be removed, and much more!

Pacific Front Contest Winners Announced!

The results are here! Ahead are the top 5 winners! But you'll notice, we start with 4th place..... you'll find out why as you read through each winner.

First off, there has also been some slight changes to prizes. The first of which was previously announced, rather than a gold skin, the grand prize winner gets a Type 100 skin with colors of their choice instead!

The other changes are:
